Paul writes to the Philippian Church declaring his desire for them to be happy with the knowledge that Jesus is very near.
This is the message of Gaudate Sunday, the third Sunday of Advent. Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I say rejoice! This is the message I carry in my heart into my day, whatever it may bring.
Jesus, I know you are near. You are the source of my hope and joy. Maranatha, come Lord Jesus come.
