Alleluia, alleluia!
I am the light of the world, says the Lord;
whoever follows me will have the light of life.
Alleluia!Jn.8:12
In today's Gospel Acclamation Jesus speaks to the crowd proclaiming who he is, God, and what he brings, life.
A unique quality of Jesus is that he speaks clearly of his divinity. We either believe he was mad, or extremely evil or who he says he is. He doesn't give any other options. As there is no evidence of him being mad or bad I choose to believe he is who he says he is, the light of the world who brings life.
Thank you Jesus for bringing me the light of life as I stumblingly follow you.
