Psalm 102 is a great self portrait of God the Father. His two strongest features are contained in the brush strokes of these two verses. Love and forgiveness.
Two things we all crave are on offer here. Deep, authentic, unwavering love and complete, utter, final removal of sins. No wonder our Judeo-Christian faith has remained for millennia. If I am to be a faithful follower of Jesus then these two traits are to be my dominate brush strokes today. Unwavering love. Complete forgiveness.
Lord Jesus, you personify love and forgiveness. Help me reflect your image today as I love and forgive.
