Give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord, 

and may the fullness of his message live within you.

Saint Paul encourages the Colossian Church to always be grateful and then adds his plea that the complete fullness of the Christian message be evident in their lives.

The Christian message is meant to be a living thing, not a dull doctrine. When someone is described as being an alive person it is meant they are engaging, energetic, enthusiastic, joyful and fun to be around. I'm leading the Alpha Away Day today. I want to be alive.

Come Holy Spirit of God. Fill me anew so I may be truly alive and draw people to Jesus today.
