Sand to Rock

He spoke to them for a long time using many arguments, and he urged them, ‘Save yourselves from this perverse generation.’ They were convinced by his arguments, and they accepted what he said and were baptised.

Full of the Holy Spirit, Peter boldly addresses the very people who had previously roared for Jesus' crucifixion. The transformation of Peter the sand pile to Peter the rock is complete.

Jesus said it was better he left so power from on high may come. Peter is testimony to that truth. With Jesus, Peter was a fearful denier. With the Holy Spirit he was a courageous proclaimer.
