Whatever house you go into, let your first words be, “Peace to this house!” And if a man of peace lives there, your peace will go and rest on him; if not, it will come back to you.

Jesus is instructing the seventy-two for their impending mission trip. While going as lambs among wolves, Jesus gives them a defensive strategy. Be lavish granters of peace.
Peace is disarming. It allays suspicion and hostility, softens hearts, and opens up a pathway to speak the Good News.
Jesus, help me be a man of peace today.
