Offensive

Stephen was filled with grace and power and began to work miracles and great signs among the people.
Acts.6:8

Stephen's grace and power was evidenced by two things. Signs and miracles.

Saint Stephen is a hero to me. His courage and conviction are inspirational. It's strange how the Christian message of love is so threatening to some. Perhaps it's because our faith is an all-or-nothing affair. If I'm not "offending" someone by my lifestyle, maybe I'm not being a very effective witness.

I note Saint Stephen is the patron saint of stonemasons and people suffering headaches. Who says our Church doesn't have a sense of humor.
